About
The principle that defines Miyuu’s work today is not intuitive movement alone, but the ability to explain clearly and precisely why a specific approach is necessary.
From an early age, Miyuu Sasaki was drawn to movement and the intelligence of the human body. During junior high and high school, soccer became a foundation not only for physical development, but for a deeper curiosity about how the body adapts, responds, and performs under physical demand.
After graduating from high school, Miyuu entered the trainer program at Ohara Sports and Medical College, where studies focused on exercise physiology, functional anatomy, nutrition, and biomechanics. The education emphasized not just movement, but understanding the body through scientific principles.
Following graduation, Miyuu began working as a personal trainer in Tokyo. However, the reality of the industry revealed a significant gap between professional training standards and common practice. Standardized programs, limited individual assessment, and instruction without explanation highlighted a growing disconnect between what personal training should be and what it had become.
Choosing integrity over compromise, Miyuu stepped away from the field, carrying forward a belief that true personal training must be rooted in knowledge, accountability, and respect for the individual. After gaining broader perspective, Miyuu returned with renewed purpose.
At twenty one, Miyuu began working independently. By twenty four, formal study resumed from the ground up, rebuilding expertise in anatomy, training theory, therapy, nutrition, and recovery science. Participation in overseas cadaver dissection programs further deepened anatomical understanding to a clinical level, shaping a practice grounded in precision, responsibility, and long term care of the body.
Miyuu is available for Personal Fitness Training, Thai Massage, and Wellness Consultation, including nutrition and recovery guidance.
